Andrew started his scientific career as a researcher in medicinal inorganic chemistry, where he used molecular modelling to investigate the steric interactions between DNA and novel platinum complexes having specific conformations. Andrew advises clients working in a number of industries, particularly the pharmaceutical, veterinary and agrochemical industries.
Andrew is a registered Trans-Tasman Patent and Trade Mark Attorney and has 20 years’ experience in the profession. He spent over 10 years at one of Australia's top-tier IP law firms before starting Foundry in 2013.

Lester has a background in Mechanical Engineering, and worked in locomotive design and steel making before entering the IP profession. Lester’s technical field ranges from engineering to product development, and he has drafted and prosecuted patent applications in underwater turbines, carbon remote power storage systems, modular solar power, PAPRs, surfboards, fins, motorcycles, consumer products, O2O commerce, and banking transaction systems, among others.
He has now been a Registered Trans-Tasman Patent and Trade Mark Attorney for 20 years. Lester handles all aspects of front-end IP protection for Sydney clientele, with strong suits in patents and designs.
